About Tennis on the Hill

Tennis on the Hill is a non-profit Community Tennis Association (CTA), promoting and facilitating the playing and enjoyment of tennis as a means of healthy recreation and lifelong physical fitness for all ages, abilities, income levels, and backgrounds in the community of greater Capitol Hill and surrounding area.
Tennis on the Hill would not be possible without the support and help of many people. Get to know a few of us:

Eric Legg

Eric Legg is a Capitol Hill resident and a United States Tennis Professional (USTPA) certified teaching pro. He has been teaching tennis for over 15 years from beginners to advanced players. He currently oversees the Arlington County tennis program, is on the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Committee on Tennis in Public Parks, is the First VP of the USTA/Washington Districtand has been published on tennis topics in Parks & Recreation Business magazine. Additionally, he is an adjunct instructor in Sports Management for George Mason UniversityFrostburg State University and American Public University.

Becky Skinner

Becky has lived on the Hill since 1998. She is active in local schools and youth sports. She is also an aspiring tennis player and has two little tennis players who are looking forward to hitting the courts!

David Butler

David is a Capitol Hill resident since 2003. David and his two daughters particpated in clinics last summer and fall and are anxious to get back on the court!

Jeffrey Marks

Jeff has been a Capitol Hill resident since 2001. He is practicing attorney and an avid tennis player.

Amy Jones

Amy has been a Capitol Hill resident since 2001 and is a practicing attorney. She has three aspiring tennis players (ages 6, 4, and 2)

Susan C

Susan is a former NCAA Dvision II tennis player and university intramural doubles champ.  She also played club tennis when in law school which she believes kept her sane during that three year period of time.  While she no longer plays tennis competitively, she has coached small groups and individuals for numerous years -- most recently in the Arlington County recreational tennis program.
